Developed specifically for Nintendo DS™ by Ideas Pad in close partnership with Puzzler Media, the masterminds behind the Puzzler brand, Puzzler World offers up more than 1,000 games spanning an incredible collection of 14 different puzzle types from popular formats such as Wordsearch, Sudoku, Crossword, Fitword, Link-A-Pix, Codeword, Spot the Difference and Silhouette, as well as bonus games including Hangman and all-new puzzle formats Equate, Jigsaw, and more.  Puzzler World is available across North American retailers for a suggested retail price of $19.99 as well as available for PC download at Atari.com.

Ideas Pad Signs Puzzler

Ideas Pad Ltd is pleased to announce that they have signed a five year, multi platform licensing agreement with Puzzler Media Ltd.







Puzzler Media Ltd are the foremost supplier of puzzle content within the UK marketplace with over a 60% market share of the total puzzling market.  With over 35 unique titles Puzzler publishes well in excess of 2 million magazines across the UK on a monthly basis.  Puzzler are also one of the foremost puzzle content suppliers to national and international newspapers and glossy magazines across the globe, with their total puzzling audience in the tens of millions.

Highly successful games industry entrepreneur, Paul Gouge Appointed as CEO

Following his successful tenure as the Head of Eidos's Play division, Paul Gouge has been appointed as the CEO of Ideas Pad Ltd.

After an early career in Investment Banking, Paul Gouge entered the video game industry in 1999 when he founded BattleMail, the World's first virally distributed multiplayer e-mail game.  BattleMail attracted 1 million players and is widely considered as the catalyst for many of today's popular social and casual gaming trends.  With a BAFTA nomination under it's belt BattleMail went on to find both commercial and critical success both on and off the internet launching onto 17 million Siemens Mobiles, Virgin Atlantic Aircraft and Sky Television. BattleMail was sold to mobile games publisher (M)forma in 2002.

Paul then went on to form Rockpool games, a mobile games development company and Ironstone Partners an I.P licensing and creation business. The Rockpool group of companies which also included So Games went on to employ over seventy staff at its central Manchester office and created some of the flagship mobile games of recent years, including Sonic The Hedgehog (TM) for Sega and several of the Worms (TM) titles for THQ.  Eidos swooped for the group during 2006, successfully completing a $15m purchase in February of 2007.  Paul assumed the role of General Manager of mobile and casual and went on to form Eidos Play, the casual gaming arm of Eidos, responsible for titles such as Pony Friends and High School Dreams.


Paul now brings his wealth of experience and knowledge to Ideas Pad in time for it's inaugural product release Puzzler World.  Paul stated that he was immensely proud to be joining such an exciting new company and that with titles of the quality of Puzzler World that Ideas Pad would become a force to be reckoned with within the gaming world. He further commented that with the exciting line up of titles coming from Ideas Pad that he was looking forward to an exceptional 2010.

Puzzler World PC: Prove your puzzling prowess (Free PC tryout)

Following the successful version for Nintendo DS/DSi, Puzzler World PC released in the UK 20th November 2009 now brings more than 1000 quality puzzles including 80 Link-a-Pix from Conceptis directly to your Personal Computer desktop.

Those interested to try out Puzzler World PC can now download an hour-long fully playable version of the game from the Ideas Pad website (160MB, Windows XP / Vista / Windows 7). Full version of the game is available for purchase directly from the trial.

Other puzzle types offered in Puzzler World PC include Sudoku, Crossword, Wordsearch, Fitword, Codeword, Silhouette and Spot the Difference. Unlockable bonus games include Hangman, Picture Quiz, Missing Piece, Jigsaw, Equate and Chain Letters. Conceptis' Link-a-Pix are available in sizes of 10x10, 20x20 and 25x25.
